Most people in Morioh don’t talk about the strange disappearances. They happen, and then they don’t. No names on the news. No follow-ups. No bodies. If you ask around, people shrug and move on.
But some cases slip through the cracks. Some cases linger.
On June 24, 1999, 14-year-old Shigekiyo Yangu vanished after leaving Morioh Middle School. No struggle. No witnesses. No answers. The official report filed by police calls it a runaway case, but that doesn’t add up.
- He wasn’t carrying a bag big enough to run away. He only had a sandwich from St. Gentleman.
- He was last seen acting nervous, looking over his shoulder, as if someone was following him.
- He never made it home.
I found one clue in the archived case files—a button found near the school gates. Not from his uniform. Not from any of his teachers. A suit button.
Tell me, who the hell wears a suit to a middle school?
Five years later, this case is still unsolved. Maybe it was just a random crime. Maybe he really did run away. But if that’s true, why does this exact same story keep happening in Morioh?
If you have any leads, leave a comment. If you’ve seen anything, let me know.
I think I saw him. But not how you think. Do you believe in ghosts?
